Nathan Vann Walton

Nathan started his music career in 1992, when he was a member of a singing group called "SOL". In 1996, he was signed to Motown Records, where he co-wrote and co-produced songs for his album. Top producers took note of his talent and abilities and one of those producers, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, who at the time was the hottest producer in the music industry, signed him to his newly formed publishing company, Edmonds Entertainment, in 1997.
Since then, Nathan has written and produced songs for top artists such as Whitney Houston, Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg. In addition to writing and producing songs for artists, Nathan has also written and produced music for a variety of television shows and movies, including six seasons of BET's "College Hill", the theatrical films, "Who's Your Caddy?" and "Beerfest", and most recently, the theatrical feature films "No Tell Motel", "A Haunting At Silver Falls" and "Blood Shed", which he composed the scores for.
To better his knowledge and skills in his craft, he went to UCLA and took their Extension program for "Electronic Scoring For Television And Film. Nathan also collaborates with Jamie Foxx on various projects. Although he loves producing music for top-charting artists, his first musical love was listening to classical and orchestrated musical soundtracks. Since he was very young, he knew that composing was what he wanted to do. His top six all time favorite composers are: John Williams, James Newton Howard , Jerry Goldsmith, Alan Silvestri, Hans Zimmer and Danny Elfman.
