No, you don't have to be worried, Eeva R. Tikka. I was just wondering if you heard that from Stage 32. I haven't seen that note before, but I haven't done a written pitch in a while, so the note might've been added more recently or I just missed it before.

There’s lots of tools

if you wish to interview me and ask me questions, I am a moderator here. I do have personal preferences to screen writing in certain tools that I use.

There are many choices, from free ones to paid-for options. I used to use Screenwriter, which is in its heyday was the standard. But then along came Final Draft. FD is no the standard, easy to work with and the best option if you plan on writing often. BTW if you are a member of SAG-AFTRA, they offer a discount. I have a project optioned with me as the director. I can just send my team the FD file and they work from it to pull out props, locations, etc., and to run a schedule and budget. I head a screenwriting workshop for SAG-AFTRA NY's Conservatory. I do not recommend any single software to them. A few have had problems with other brands, but the FD users seem happiest.
