Hi Sean. I'm RB, Founder and CEO of Stage 32. As a screenwriter, producer, actor and filmmaker, I know first-hand the challenges all creatives face finding work, landing representation, launching projects, securing funding and simply making the connections that will make a difference in their careers. That's why I created Stage 32. Since our launch in September of 2011, the community has grown to 1,000,000+ members representing every country on the planet making Stage 32 the social network uniquely populated with the most creative people on Earth.
This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
RB

Awesome Sean! Glad you're here. I dig your sensibilities and influences for your story. Sounds cool. And Tom Petty! I saw him in concert in 1995 and have been a fan ever since. My favorite is "American Girl" and anything off "Damn the Torpedoes". Can't wait to see what you'll accomplish!
Thanks Matthew Parvin , appreciate you - and I'm jealous, didn't get to see him live but was always a fan. And there's nothing like seeing folks dancing to American Girl, last song of every set!...

Expand commentHey, Sean Thompson! Great to meet you, and congrats on submitting to the New Blood contest! Oh, hey - how's B-more? I'm originally from the DMV. I have some great memories of filming B-more. It's a great city to be a musician, that's for sure!
If you’ve already discovered the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting), definitely check out some of the other topic lounges for inspiration. Perhaps you will meet like-minded creatives in the Composing Lounge as a fellow musician: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/composing
Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my blog post on how to get the most out of the Stage32 Community:

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect!
