I will second Delkin Device’s Fat Gecko mounts. Specifically the Fat Gecko Triple Mount. I’ve used them to film extreme off-roading 4x4s and mounted to helicopters. They hang on like a lonely octopus....

The perfect end to my favorite kind of assignment. Watching the sunset from high above the Snake River canyon. The Robinson R44 belongs to Kiwi Helicopters of Clarkson, Washington. Clarkson, WA, is right across the Snake River from Lewiston, Idaho both of which are located at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater rivers. This is the best way to earn a living!

I posted a video that shows my favorite kind of shooting assignment. Aerial cinematography.

Homestead Loop Aerials

This video was created as a promotional piece for the real-estate firm listing the property. This video is being used to showcase this property’s ridge-top location and amazing views, high above the Snake River canyon twenty miles south of Lewiston, Idaho, to potential buyers. Camera platform was a Robinson R44. Video was shot using a stock Panasonic GH2 combined with the Panasonic 14–45 zoom lens and a GoPro Hero 2. Still images were shot by photographer Palmer Halvorson using a Canon 5D MkIII and the Canon 24–70 L zoom lens.
