Nancy Sanchez

I am a left-brained and right-brained professional passionate about the creative and innovative ways to deeply connect films to their audiences. Double majoring in Graphic Design and Advertising paved the way for a career path that is both creative and analytical. My never-ending thirst for knowledge led me to attain a Business in Management & Entertainment Certificate at UCLA’s Extension Program.

My marketing experience includes strategizing and executing 360 campaigns for successful indie films such as SCORE: A FILM MUSIC DOCUMENTARY, BUDDYMOON, Colin Hanks’s ALL THINGS MUST PASS, Adam Nimoy’s FOR THE LOVE OF SPOCK, Johnny Knoxville’s BEING EVEL, and CALIFORNIA TYPEWRITER with Tom Hanks.

Prior to marketing, I was on the creative agency side managing projects for HBO, Universal Pictures, Universal Studios Home Entertainment, 20th Century Fox, and Lionsgate. I also managed the design flow process for over 100 print & digital marketing assets, including posters for TRUE BLOOD, FOXCATCHER, and Peter Berg’s STATE OF PLAY series; packaging for STAR WARS 6-movie collection, MONSTER HIGH, DALLAS BUYERS CLUB; and Academy campaigns for UNBROKEN, LES MISÉRABLES, and GET ON UP.

Currently, I’ve launched my own production company called Lady Bug Pictures (website coming soon). My intention with this company is to write, develop, and produce projects that I feel strongly about. Projects that have universal human themes that help to unite people from all different backgrounds. Projects that create a friendship with its audiences. With my distribution and marketing background, I am able to think big picture during the initial writing/development stage and then transition to a detail-oriented mindset once the execution phase of production/distribution begins.

I embrace collaborating and aligning myself with individuals and companies who have the same shared interest of creating a positive and inspiring global social impact through the entertainment industry.
