Hey everyone! Looking forward to being part of the Stage 32 community. I'm transitioning back from corporate event production into acting/singing. I'm looking to make connections, as well as build my film and television acting experience. It's a very different ball game from live theatre!

Oh yes, film is very different from theatre, though I have to say, on a personal note, the stage brings out something so organic and 'magical' that sometimes can't be captured or recreated on film. Not so much in the physical sense(set pieces, props) but the emotional pull the stage has. That's the beauty of theatre, I think. I'm probably not making sense haha. Anyway, welcome to Stage 32. I promise not everyone is weird as I am.

Shanika Freeman I agree there's a different sense of intimacy and emotional investment you get as an audience member in theatre as well vs. film. I"m pretty weird and I see that as a positive so I'm not worried! Pamela Bolinder thank you for the welcome!
Hi Emily, this is a tough gig but I'm sure you've got what it takes to succeed here too. Welcome.
