Introduce Yourself : Hi! Jackie here. by Jaqueline Jimenez

(I am not really fond of introducing myself in a formal manner but I promise to try)

I finished Bachelor of Fine Art major in Advertising arts in University of Santo Tomas Philippines in 2015 and followed my heart & landed on Film scene. I know I am not like most of everyone here who are quite veteran in shooting, directing or even my favorite.. being a colorist. I also know that I am young really young but I hope to grow better and be equipped with the right knowledge on how to get better in my said field. 

I have a little experience on Production in college when I first started my job or Internship on a Production house as a video editor. Honestly at first I was striving really bad to get everything work well with me. Since I know this line of work is obviously not for the faint hearted but I loved it and learned the process as I go along for 4 months. I edit music videos there at Sindikato Inc. from offline to few online edits then continued as a freelancer when I graduated. I put up my own start-up Production house with a few wonderful and highly creative teammates. Everything was really going well until I needed to leave and migrate to follow my bigger dreams and be with my parents.

I joined this awesome website hoping to find a few teachers and friends in the same field I'm in to learn a lot more about the different cultures of films in other countries and cities to be able to catch up and hopefully land a job in this new chapter of mine — My California Dream.
