Hi there. I am a British screenwriter and actress. I currently have a vampire feature screenplay "Vandella" being hosted on The Black List. I am just finishing off a science fiction pilot also for The Black List and am entering their TV writing compeition. At the moment I am cast as a zombie in a feature film Dead High and filming at this time in England in a field somewhere around the ancient city of Winchester. Last year I was cast as a prostitute in open-,air Shakespearean theatre, The Two Gentlemen of Verona. I have extreme acting experiences. I will be coming to the Sundance Independent Fim Festival in Utah in January.

When you said "in England in a field somewhere," I thought of Ben Wheatley's A Field in England. What a great, bizarre and funny film. Good luck to you.

Sounds so exotic - playing zombie "somewhere" around an "ancient" city! "We were warned to stay away, but..." Could make a great book or screenplay. Welcome to Stage32, Kathleen.

Hello and thank-you for all your kind messages. I don't think it was such an ancient field after all. But certainly a cold but sunny day and hard work running across the same field 7 times with other zombies who could all run faster than me and a face full of prosthetics and make-up. A drone camera whirling around above our heads too. It was exhausting but very interesting being a part of a zombie feature. It is a comedy actually. It's called Dead High and they will not finish it until the summer (I don't know the plot exactly but I know it involves three young guys -a bit like the Bill & Ted movies) and a rock band has created a great sound track just for the film which I got to hear. I hope they all do well with it. I am just looking for my next job now.
