Found this gem about Mikey Alfred from 'Mid90s' and 'Ballers' who is pitching his feature directorial debut, "North Hollywood" and was told straight-up "no". It's a really powerful story about believing in your story, speaking up for the audience who will watch it, and making it happen.

Was doing pitching in the 00's mostly locally and face to face. You schedule a meeting, go there, talk bout your script, idea and see what happens...these days all gone electronically you kinda loose your best chance to impress somebody...your appearance :)... anyway always said and will say rejection is just a part of the job....everyone been rejected from Spielberg to Tommy Viseau, but there's the beauty of it as we learn more from our failures than from our success
Glad you all are enjoying it! And I totally agree, Kiril Maksimoski - and if we shift our goal to being rejected 10, 20, 100 times, I think there is a real sense of satisfaction knowing that at least you're in the game! That way when you get something more than rejection, it's a welcomed surprise!
