You're welcome, Gigi.

Cherie Grant

After reading this script I own't bother seeing the film.

Chanel Ashley

What was your analysis, Theresa, I thought it was okay, nothing special, buggered if I know why it succeeded, perhaps it's an American taste, don't know.

John Garrett

It is an odd duck, and I enjoyed the movie. I also enjoyed The Royal Tenenbaums and The Grand Budapest Hotel. I find that I enjoy such movies because they aren't the rehashed things that are done to death. I felt that the performance by Edward Norton and Michael Keaton sold it and don't think it is something that would have worked without the right actors. I also liked the way that it appeared to be one long shot. I would have loved to sit in during the editing.

Eoin O'Sullivan

I enjoyed this film - it was off the wall, but for all the right reasons. It felt like a stage play, dark comedy, with cinematic scope. The huge disappointment for me was Foxcatcher.

Eoin O'Sullivan

Yeah, I love the 'McDonagh style' of dark comedy, a twisted observation on Irish life, from the stage plays of Martin to films of both. I was lucky enough to play a part in A Skull in Connemara a few years ago with Lekayla Theatre Company.

Bill Costantini

I read Birdman every month or so. I love the script - the story and the dialogue. I especially love the dialogue - it's rich, complex and evocative. Those are some well-developed characters...through that dialogue. Hats off to the four writers. As an aside...it would be nice if Stage32 had a side Archive column like gointothestory.blacklst.com has. It would be a good benefit in the forums here to have an index of past forum topics - or at least the significant ones.
