Happy Sunday!
RB's blog post today is another wonderful prompt to reflect on what we do as creatives.

For me it brought up once again the challenging reality of any serious creative pursuit - that's it's a mix of exploratory experiences, with no particular end in mind and structure scaffolding, with definite rules and points of connection.
Curious to hear your take on finding the equilibrium of exploration and structure for each project - do you naturally prefer one to the other? Does that influence the genre you're writing in? Is the requirement of both an emotional incentive or disincentive?

Hi, Sebastian Tudores. I prefer writing feature scripts and short scripts. I use a 3-act structure for every feature, and I use a mini 3-act structure for shorts. I mainly write Horror and Action, but I'll write any genre. Sometimes I start outlining an idea in one genre(s), then change the genre(s).
