I'm thinking Saturday 11am at the Coogee Bay Hotel in Coogee for our first meetup. Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. The BBC has me working like a slave. That's TV for you :-/

Hey Julie and Sydney-siders, Since I last posted my interest in holding this on Nov 1st my schedule has changed. I need to attend the 2014 Promax Awards with the BBC on that day. I'm happy to still be the go-to person but I need to move the date to the following SATURDAY NOVEMBER 8TH at 11AM. Sorry about that but I hope you can still make it :-)

Hi guys, Been away on a trip to Tasmania and just got back. Have you been? Wonderful place! I need to sell a couple of scripts and move there ASAP :) Anyway, I'm still hoping people can make to our meetup on Sat Nov 8th. This is just a meet and greet over a beer, nothing fancy or formal. I'm looking forward to networking with lots of Stage32-ers!

I live in Sydney and I live not even a 25 minute walk from Coogee Beach! Alas, my only free days are during the week days not the weekend. Too many folks in Sydney who SHOULD know each other don't due to conflicting schedules. Have fun, y'all :) <3

Hi everyone! Our Sydney Stage 32 meetup is happening this weekend. Here is some additional info: - we are meeting in the main outdoor beer garden of the Coogee Bay Hotel at 11am. Any food or drink you want can be purchased there. - Julie at Stage 32 has kindly sent us some freebies from the US. 1st person gets a free Stage 32 t-shirt. First 10 people get discount vouchers for Happy Writers' services. First 20 people get a free Stage 32 shot glass! - Look for me (see photo on profile). I will be wearing a black Stage 32 t-shirt and standing near the open doors that lead from the beer garden into the main beer garden bar. I'm terrible at remembering names and I'm new to Stage 32 so forgive me in advance if I don't recognize you from the website :-) - If you are driving, free 2hr street parking can generally be found starting two blocks south of Coogee Bay Rd and east of Mount St. - Try to arrive as close to 11am or even earlier. The beer garden and the street parking fills up fast on a Saturday and the weather is looking good so it will be busy. I think that's all. Look forward to a chat and a beer with y'all. If you have business cards, bring them... And remember... Always. Wear. Sunscreen. :)

If it's in the outdoor area I may be able to swing through for a hot minute. But I will have to bring my very charismatic, wise-cracking 10yo son. You have been warned ;P
