Shaboom! Optioned a Short to Another Stage 32 Member.

I'm delighted to say I have optioned my short script DEVIL'S LITTLE ANGEL to aspiring filmmaker and Stage 32 member Kiarra "KB" Barthelemy. KB and I connected on Stage 32 where she became aware of my selection of free to produce short scripts and contacted me to discuss producing one of them. How cool is that, mummykissers? I'll tell you how cool it is, my tea intake is up at least 25%! And as if Stage 32 wasn't strutting its funky stuff enough already, it previously delivered a power-move in the form of peer feedback on this script from all round fly dude Spike Thurbon. This is actually the second Stage 32 success story for me. Earlier this year I connected with model and actor Eva Ndachi on webseries I hope one day graces your screens. But I never told you that - extended unexpected badassery declared on your derrières! https://www.stage32.com/profile/175728/Screenplay/Devils-Little-Angel

Congrats, CJ.

"badassery declared on your derrières"....classic!

Spike Thurbon

Awesome news, CJ! I knew you were onto a winner! Really happy for you dude. Glad the feedback helped, and shout me up anytime in the future. Onwards and upwards!

CJ - you are hard working my friend...congratulations!

Congrats. Continue to stay easy.

I admire how much you put in, CJ, pleased to see a measure of success come your way, remember we mere serfs when you make it big, lol.

CJ Walley

Love you guys so much :) I wouldn't feel a fraction as good to progress if I didn't have my Stage 32 buddies to share the news with.

Chanel Ashley

I'm certain you understand the meaning when I say "Your success is our success" - we want to see one of our own get ahead - you just beat us to, it, you bastard, lol (for those that don't know, that's an endearment where I come from).

CJ Walley

No drama, cobber. To be honest I really don't enjoy parading my victories around. It feels very boastful, especially to a pommy bastard like myself. And sometimes things don't come through, my last two short script options (not via Stage 32) died on their respective arses. But I want other writers to keep the faith, I know how painstaking it is waiting for serendipity and I know how fruitless it can feel offering our wares to a wall of apathy. I also want to share the Stage 32 love, I want people to stay reminded that things do come from making connections here.

Chanel Ashley

I have a soft spot for pommy bastards.

CJ Walley

There's a very vulgar joke there I'm going to resist.

Chanel Ashley

There is, but this is a family site.
