Introduce Yourself : I'm hoping I'm doing this right! by Mallory Johnston

If I'm not, please tell me! I'm a total newbie at this site. I stumbled across Stage32 on NoFilmSchool.com and decided to give it a whirl. I'm Mallory Johnston. I'm by no means a professional, but that's what I'm here for. I'm a senior student in communications and film. I'm still learning, which I love. I'm always open to gaining more knowledge. I currently reside in Mississippi, where I always have resided. It may sound farfetched, but I don't want to go to Los Angeles to obtain a job in the industry. My roots are deep here in the south, and I would love to be able to stay around the so-called hotspots of Southern Hollywood (Atlanta area, Louisiana, Mississippi Delta, etc.). Of course, I'd never say no to making a visit to sunny LA. Again, I'm still learning, so don't throw a blow to me too hard. Haha! I have hopes of one day being a showrunner (exec. producer/writer) but for now I just long to be behind the scenes on a set. I love the process of filming more than anything. I look forward to making acquaintances here on Stage32! And please don't hesitate in giving tips on utilizing this site for what it's worth! Thank you, sirs/ma'ams!
