Father. Husband. Believer. Filmmaker. Corp video producer. Podcaster. Not always in the right order. "But I'm trying Ringo. I'm trying real hard..." Oh, and I used to be semi-professional Lindy Hopper. :)
@elaine - Ha. You actually can. If you're a full blown pro, teach and travel the world. When I did it, it was just a group of us who were good at it and did it for fun. We performed at Carnation Plaza at Disneyland once, and a few other venues around L.A. We'd make $50 each. It was a hoot. Those were the days. :)
Welcome Ron!
Thanks guys! Glad to join the community.
Welcome Ron! I am new here as well. Seems like a great place to bond with creative types.
Great having someone like you, Ron. Btw, love your picture, very "director" and artistic as well, buddy. Welcome!

Thx for the comment about the photo Jorge. I actually want to change it. I've used it for a few years and the whole director-hands thing can feel a little cliché. :)But I like the mystery behind it too. Eh. I'll leave it for now. :)

So, does one make a decent enough living from Lindy Hopping?

Hi Ron. Welcome
Speaking of the Lindy Hop, I would have loved to have been alive during the Harlem Renaissance, or the Jazz Age.
Welcome to Stage 32, Ron!
Ron: The pic is original. Keep it.
