Hey,
I am not native english speaker, however I write in english for screen hoping my works will get made in West Hollywoods :D
How to get my pitches prepared into the level of excellence? What to do, after achieving that with the help of this community? Will the streaming platform's or TV network's representatives angelically will reveal their faces by themselves at the right time or what specific steps should I take to drink coffee in pitching rooms?
Many thanks,
Miroslavas Siniavskis

Pitching is not so much what you say then how you say it...most people will ignore "broken English", but no one will ignore "broken enthusiasm"...

Make sure your pitch is always demonstrating what will make your story unique and will make it connect with audiences.

Thanks, Dan. I am great in concepts and philosophical notes describing the world, characters, but I am still training my productivity and execution muscle :D Would be awesome to write faster with same quality or better! :D

Hi Miroslavas! Nice to meet you! If you want to practice pitching to become better at it, there is a Thursday night pitch session at 5:30 pm (PST) right here on Stage 32 through zoom. You can listen to others pitch until you are ready to do so yourself. It's a friendly, non-stressful atmosphere.

Hi John, where can I get that link to your ZOOM practice pitches? I find this very interesting..., and thanks for the information!

Hi Edo! Nice to meet you here! If you're a member of The Writers Room, click on the red tab in the upper right corner of the home page of Stage 32, after that, there should be a link listed right away that you can click on to be connected to the current Thursday Night Pitch Practice Session with Brooklynn Fields. She's a wonderful person who hosts the session, and I sometimes co-host it with her. It's very relaxed, no pressure, and educational for those who wish to learn how to pitch a script to an exec. The next session is Dec. 2nd at 5:30 pm (PST).

You need to give them a sense of urgency. Which is not easy. They have seen a hundred pitches and heard all the “practiced lines”. You have to be able to read the room. See if you can figure out what is working what isn’t working.
You have to be solving a problem for them. They need a low budget film, or they need a horror for the slate… whatever it happens to be. If you can gauge what is work in your pitch to them, then follow that path.
If you have a masterclass subscription, watch Chris Voss.

Sveiki Miroslavas! No answers for you (everyone above seems to have given great advice) but wishing you a lot of success.
