Introduce Yourself : Hello beautiful people by Edyta Niewinska

I’m happy to be here, with you. You are such a lovely community of energetic, passionate and talented people!

Me myself I spent last months working on two web series and right now they are at the execs so now it’s time to wait. One is a great adventure based on true story located in India in the ‘90 about Polish young lads smuggling electronics from Singapore to India. My co-screenwriter is one of the smugglers himself. Fun to work with that project.

Another one started actually as an idea for my 4th novel (yes, I am novelist with 3 novels published already) and grew to the concept of web series. It’s going to be Spanish-UK coproduction and it’s about determined women who are taking control of their life and fighting to reveal painful truth to the world. I love this story, I love my protagonists and I am proud to be “working” with them.

And the last of my projects that is on my plate now is the feature film that is an adaptation of my last written and published novel, when one of the main protagonists has my very own personal story of being a victim of abusive relationship. I have screenplay written in English and Spanish and I am looking for the producers and execs to send it to. The story takes place in Spain, as that’s how it’s written in my novel, and it’s very empowering story for all the women that are in abusive and/or toxic relationship and I am looking forward to being this story to the screen to empower women to decide about their own life and wellbeing.

Meanwhile I am searching for the right producer, I work as a script doctor as I have mora than 10 years of experience with teaching people, designing and leading workshops and consulting 1:1 and I still love that job.
