Hope everyone is healthy and feeling creative. Like most of you, I’ve been busy writing. I’ve been a member for several years and continue to be impressed with the professionalism and resourcefulness of Stage 32. For new members, check out the Writers Room. There are a lot of brilliant opportunities there.
I’m still plugging along. I am working with a Hollywood producer now to produce one of my screenplays. It’s taking longer than I thought, but I guess that’s standard practice (unresolved funding issues - patience is a must).
Keep following your dream, and don’t give up.

Congrats on working with a producer on your script, Richard Galbraith! Yeah, patience is definitely a must in this industry. I'm dealing with it right now, waiting to hear back from producers. Hope the funding issues work out and your script gets made!

Hi Richard and congrats on having a project in development! Movies stuck in funding stages is very common, but once the one right piece falls into place then it can feel like a whirlwind, so just hang in there because I'm sure it's coming for you. How did you hook up with this producer? I'm sure many of your fellow writers would love to hear

Hi Emily, a producer who is a member of Stage 32 contacted me. To my complete surprise, I got a call from him on a Sunday morning saying he was interested in one of my screenplays. We then began to establish a relationship (imperative) and now it’s a waiting game. Cheers, R.L.

Love this post and all the energy within, Richard. Your perspective is on point. Nothing comes fast and easy in this industry, but that's what makes crossing the finish line on a project that much sweeter.
