Amanda, I overcome writer's block by--not writing for a while, and I read instead, watch movies on tv, work on other projects. I don't exactly call it writers block--more like, I finished one project and don't yet have a good idea for the next project. At some point, something clicks and I"m back into the virtual cave.

That sounds like me lately, Patricia Stepp. I've been rewriting my feature scripts and shorts, especially my old scripts so they're up to date with the new things I've learned about screenwriting.
