My name is Christa Biyela, and I am from South Africa. I have been writing for television for the past 11 years. The last series I wrote for, "Savage Beauty," is coming up soon on Netflix with its second season. Please watch it!
Besides writing, I have been teaching young and upcoming writers for the past 5 years, thanks to my lecturing experience, I have the patience of an ant. I have also recently started writing feature films. I am currently looking for funding for my latest project, "Khethiwe," about a young dancer forced to abandon her dream of dancing in France to care for her mother, who is dying of dementia.
My goals are to learn more about AI to create monthly newsletters for my young writers, consult while traveling, and help more young writers polish their scripts.
