A new social media network, yay! I'm a craft-focused writer of largely genre entertainment (sci-fi, fantasy, westerns) who has had some success with crowdfunding (the DND 5e campaign setting book I wrote raised $54k on Kickstarter with actor Damion Poitier as the "face" and lead character Jaith Kuduri), comic books (I've written for DC Comics, Aspen Comics, Top Cow, and a variety of smaller imprints) and done some voice work (I was "G.I. Lieutenant" in Crime Boss: Rockay City as well as doing some narration for L.A. Care Health Plan).
I'm currently developing some audio drama productions, whittling down what goes in my next TTRPG book and writing a prequel to the western comic book mini-series released by Wunderman Comics two years ago. Most of my creative time is spent writing encounter modules for the paid Dungeons & Dragons games I run on the weekend (see image below).
I'm always interested in collaboration, I believe in the power of sweat equity and I'm happy to be here! Let's go make new things!

Welcome to the community, Hannibal Tabu. Congratulations on all the success! Very impressive! What's your DJ name?

Maurice Vaughan I just go by "DJ Hannibal Tabu" because, like Erick Sermon, I always figured I was amazing enough to just stand on who I was.

(unlike Erick Sermon, I don't accept homophobia at all)

@Hannibal Awesome skillset you have and hope you find your tribe here. I'm a fan of the Vintage Noir comic books with quite a nerdish rare collection LOL. I'm learning audio & experimenting with view to podcast/audio books/comics. In the future I will need USA voices for hard boiled cop and his allies. "Sweat Equity," love it!

Chad Edge I didn't see a Sundering WOTC book when our legal team did their research. This is a wholly original campaign setting with no connection to WOTC, so I hope the lawyers didn't miss something! In any case, thanks for the kind words!

@Debbie Croysdale I just downloaded the voice work I did for the video game, which came out really well. I'm very used to the voices of cops, growing up in the US, and would love to see how we could help each other!
