Enjoyed reading Jason's Blog on networking this evening. I missed the start of the July Filmmaking Club, but here's the professional connections I've made and would like to make::
1. I'm in the process of raising funds for a documentary I'm producing and setting up zoom meetings with corporate funders this month and next month.
2. Meeting with my agent to discuss a plan of action to option/sell three of my screenplays. I have researched several production companies and executives using IMDbPro and the WGAe Platform for my agent to reach out to and set up meetings for me over the summer.
3. Thanks to Stage 32 Writers Room during CoVid, I have a strong group of writers that I get together with on a regular basis, and we all share information with each other and have met in person several times at the Austin Film Festival. I'm planning this year to meet some of them at AFM.
