Hi everyone! I’m an actor, writer and producer based in LA and Bulgaria. Excited to meet you all! I first got into acting and then gradually my interest shifted in other areas of the industry, too. How many of you have a similar experience?
I suggest adding a detailed bio to your profile. It’ll help you build relationships/network on here. You could add things to your bio like why you became an actor/writer/producer, your accomplishments, your goals, and what movies and shows you like.
I got into screenwriting, then I started writing commercial scripts, ghostwriting, and making pitch decks. I still mainly write scripts though.
Acting is definitely my primary interest but I love writing too. Producing I got into because of the stories I wanted to tell but the more I do it the more I discover the freedom and joy it brings with everything else respectively. Every single one has its own magic. How did you get into screenwriting?
That's great, Krassimira Belev. And it's great that you act and write. You can write your own roles. I got into screenwriting in high school. I found part of the Office Space script online during computer class. I had only read short stories, books, and poems up until then, so I was intrigued by the way the script was written.
It’s so wonderful to discover what you love at this stage in life! You get to do it longer. Writing my roles - totally. That’s how it started but the more I do it the less I think about that and focus on the story.
Hi Krassimira! I´m a film composer based in Lima, Peru with a lot of expertise in animations and Short films. If you need original music for your project, let´s connect.
I like watching and writing those genres, Krassimira Belev, especially Comedy and Thriller. I hope you have success with your projects, and I'm looking forward to staying in contact on here!
Thanks for asking Krassimira Belev. I'd have to say historical drama, dramedy and comedy is what I'm most drawn to. Having said that, I've also written a grounded sci-fi and am currently working on an animated script which started off as live action.
Wow, Krassimira, sounds like you're juggling genres like a Wild West bartender juggling whiskey bottles during a bar fight — and I mean that as the highest compliment!
Marina Albert very similar for me too. The most experience I have is in drama but interested in the other genres, too. I would love to act in a period piece one day!
