As I’ve mentioned before, I’m originally from the planet Zog and have been living incognito as a science-fiction writer in Hong Kong ever since my spaceship crashed on Earth in 2006. My mechanic has repaired my spaceship, but I’m still waiting for my new license plate from the Zog DSV (Department of Space Vehicles). In the meantime, I’m working on my latest book about a Martian running around Hong Kong.
A few months ago, I won the Hong Kong Writers Circle’s monthly contest for micro-fiction with a 55-word story titled “Remembrance,” which prompted me to set up a Substack page.

My short stories have appeared in the Hong Kong Writers Circle Magazine, The Apostrophe (Dec 2023), and the 2024 and 2025 SciFi Anthologies, published by the Science Fiction Novelists on Facebook—two of my stories will appear in the 2026 edition, to be published in February.

Sebastian Tudores Maurice Vaughan I'm thinking of using an AI program like Kling to make the story into a short (<1min) video. A project to keep me busy over Xmas/New Year's.
super idea Michael A. Clement !
