Hi Heath, Thanks for connecting. Just a writer truing to learn how to turn dreams into Jaws. Lots to learn.

Just curious. If I were to offer up the idea of a script written by 5 different people besides myself, who would want to offer up their writing skills for this collaborative project? Here's the story: a man sits in a coffee shop for a full business day and has 5 different conversations with 5 different people throughout the day. Each conversation reveals a little more about the man's character and values, as we lead up to the big reveal of why he is sitting in this coffee house in the first place—which will be my part of the story, as well as threading the five conversations together. Each conversation will be approx 15 minutes(pages) long, thus making up a feature length film of about 1:15-1:30. Don't know where this will go, but it might be fun to find out together. What do you think?

If you have a family friendly film project and some development funds available let me know. I have access to production funds for developed projects that are good stories and have screenplays that can make a good family friendly film.

I think it's time I bite the bullet and get screenwriting software. I have been able to use Word, but it's terribly clunky. I'm trying out Fade In right and it is definitely better, but I'm wondering if it's really going to do the job. I'm sure this has been discussed to death, but I'll still love to get some input from writers out there about the pro and cons of the most commonly used software.

I have 0 qualifications with editing but I really want to get into the business. I am currently looking into Postgrad courses but I would like to know if any of you guys actually needed a degree to pursue a job in editing? I am an amateur, I make them from a crappy laptop that crashes every 10 minutes, but I am saving for a computer right now to raise the quality of my videos. I have only had the chance to make fanvideos, one of them was actually played on Entertainment Tonight WORLD WIDE. Hello everybody! I am a professional visual effects artist that has also directed a few shorts. It is great to see you all online, but I would like to invite everyone to meet for a brainstorming session. The goal of this it to discover one another's project ideas and figure out if any of them are doable.
