In the summer in 1962, an eight-year old loner named Stevie is snatched off a country road by a beautiful couple in a flashy car. Miles from home, with another stolen child in tow, Stevie must use her tomboy wisdom and the things in her pockets to find a way home. 

SYNOPSIS:

In the summer in 1962, young children are disappearing without a trace.

An attractive couple in a beautiful white car make two mistakes when they abduct Stevie Tremblay; the first is thinking she's a boy, the second is underestimating her.

Stevie must escape the clutches of Barry and Dianne, a creepy brother and sister duo who abduct children for a client who goes only by the name of ‘Sir’. Stevie quickly realises there is another prisoner - a weedy seven-year-old asthmatic called Marco.

Stevie and Marco make a daring escape, but find themselves lost in the wild terrain of the Pacific Northwest. She must keep them safe and find a way home, armed only with her tomboy wisdom and a pocket full of treasures.
