I am in the process of developing a TV Series Pitch Bible for my book Friendship Estate and I am looking for a Jamaican/West Indian to help me develop the script. A Hollywood Executive I spoke to suggested that having Jamaicans/West Indians work on the project would preserve the authenticity of the story I tell within the book.Jamaica in the late 1700s and early 1800s was at a crossroads. The abolition of slavery was on the horizon, the white and black races had been mixing for generations and had formed a new culture, a modern society born of oppression with a deep desire to mix freely and chart a new course for themselves. This utopian fantasy transcends history. Instead, transporting us to a world with renewed faith in the possibilities that lie ahead. By showing us what might have been, Friendship Estate points the way to what might still be. If only…

I know this probably isn't the best route to take, but I figured I'd give Stage 32 a try... THEY NEVER LEFT is a feature length horror/dramedy that's been in development for some time now. However, recently we were able to get an experienced director with many feature films under his belt attached and we're hoping this helps attract producers to our project. The director attached is Jeremiah Kipp. Jeremiah Kipp's directing credits include SLAPFACE starring Dan Hedaya & August Maturo, BLACK WAKE starring Tom Sizemore, THE POD starring Larry Fessenden, THE SADIST starring Tom Savini and DRAW UP & STARE starring Oscar winner Melissa Leo and Michael O'Keefe. Jeremiah has crew he's previously worked with. You can check out his IMDB here: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0 Penciled in as the leads (who are also producers on the film under their Abandoned House Productions banner) are Clay von Carlowitz (CUT SHOOT KILL, MY BLOODY BANJO, Lloyd Kaufman's RETURN TO NUKE 'EM HIGH VOLS 1 & 2) & Asta Paredes (the leads in feature length horror flicks SOCIOPATHA & RETURN TO NUKE 'EM HIGH VOLS 1 & 2 -- she's on the poster). You can check out their IMDB pages here: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm35... https://www.imdb.com/name/nm51... GENRE: Horror/Dramedy LOG LINE: After being dumped by his girlfriend, a down-on-his-luck alcoholic moves into an unusually affordable NYC apartment only to find out that the previous tenant isn't quite ready to leave - despite dying three years ago. The film can be shot effectively on a ULB budget (under 200k), though of course we'd love to raise the budget a bit and shoot for modified low budget - low budget. We believe it would still be considerably less than a $1 million budget. The script was written by me, Michael J. Kospiah. I wrote critically acclaimed feature films THE SUICIDE THEORY (2015, Austin Film Fest Award Winner, Dances with Films Grand Jury Prize Winner, 79% on Rotten Tomatoes) and RAGE (67% on Rotten Tomatoes). You can check out my IMDB here: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm54... You can check out our "look-book" here, which includes a one-page synopsis, statements from me (the writer) and the director along with bios for all parties involved so far. https://drive.google.com/file/... You can also check out the short version of the film (aka the concept video) here: It has 36,000 views on Youtube with about 500 likes to 41 dislikes. It was filmed by a different director and suffers from technical deficiencies and flaws (with sound design, among other things), but the story and the acting was able to keep it above water. We're looking for producers who can help us find investors. We have a very talented, proven director attached and fantastic leads who've been leads in feature films before penciled in. We're aiming to surround the leads with recognizable character actors and name actors. We have submitted to other production companies and will continue to do so during the process until we find what we're looking for so that we can finally get this film off the ground. I know it's a shot in the dark but I figured that we'd give Stage 32 a try. For any inquiries, you can reach me at email@example.com.

SWAY CONTROL I am developing a short film (15 minutes max) about a military family (mid-late 20'/early 30's) with a young son 5-8 yrs old) on the day before the husband is deployed. In this film the husband commits suicide (this is not shown in the film). The intention with this film is to illustrate the pressure, trauma, and cost of military life. This is NOT an anti-military piece, in fact, my hope is to cast veterans in the adult roles, and honor the reality of military life.I wrote the screenplay (SWAY CONTROL), and this will be my first directorial attempt. I intend for this to be a collaborative, honest, and sincere piece.Note- I am open to casting a Mother/Child or Father/Child pair. Note- positions are listed as UNPAID, however, I intend to put together proposals for funding once I can develop the proof of concept. I imagine this shoot will take place in one or two days (two-locations).
Seeking editors in Newark, New Jersey
Shooting a documentary the weekend of 4/10 and need a creative/experienced editor. Will be about 30 mins when finished. Our company (SevGenMedia) already had one award winning documentary that was seen in several festivals and a syndicated critic called it the best African American documentary of 2005 (The Vanishing Black Male).

LYVIA’S HOUSE Casting Breakdown for Lead Male Psychological thrillerDirected by Niko VolonakisDirector of Photography Cody Martin Produced by Graffi Media Inc. (USA) and Graffi Films (GR)screenplay Patricia V. DavisSAG/AFTRA pending, feature film SAG rate Ultra Low BudgetPreliminary shooting began March 2021. Active shooting to begin late spring/late summer 2021Shooting locations: northern California (Sacramento area) and southern Nevada (Henderson area) Lyvia’s House, inspired by true events, is the story of a young journalist who suspects that the disappearance of a beautiful artist is somehow connected to a series of murders that took place 20 years earlier. What she uncovers is something she never could have imagined. IMDb Page: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1... Casting for Lead Male (Johnny Beers) Hispanic/Latino to darker Caucasian in appearance, (as though he might have one light-haired, light-skinned parent, and one who is Hispanic or Latino), can pass for age 27—33 in appearance. (If you’re not sure you fit the description, send us your headshot, let us decide.) Johnny is a ‘heartthrob,’ a wheeler-dealer, a businessman, a caring soul, a lost soul, a man with a mission, a shy guy, a life of the party (sometimes), a man who gets the woman, but then hides the fact that he’s worried he’s going to lose her. Insecure, yet very confident. Purpose driven, yet unsure. Volatile, sweet, a chameleon, an odd man out. Physically fit a must. Actor to play Johnny Beers would play opposite Niamh Wilson, who’d have the lead female role of Tara Manning: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1509081: Lyvia’s House pre-concept trailer: We would prefer to cast an actor who lives in the Sacramento, California area. This is a SAG (pending) ultra-low budget indie, so we’re hoping to have this actor go home at night, to cut down on expenses, BUT if you think this is your role, send us your headshot, anyway. If you make it to auditions, and we love you, we will cast you no matter where you live. Send headshot, resume, agency particulars to firstname.lastname@example.org Note: Please don’t send for anything other than for this role. We know times are super tough for artists, but we have everything we need, and our inbox gets flooded needlessly. Thank you.

Vive le Cinéma! I am looking to partner with an LA-based producer/creative consultant for a 4 minutes short comedy, mixing Live Action and Animation. It’s a $6000-$8000 project - a part coming from me, and the other part from a seed and spark campaign (that we would need to create together). The concept is original, unique, magical, and has an amazing potential to become viral (not a top priority though). No need to say that a love for comedy (and the vital need to create some) is crucial. One of the scene is inspired by the dance scene, with Gene Kelly and Jerry the mouse, in Anchors Aweigh. I have the script, the cast, the animator,…, but I am realizing that at this point, I need a passionate partner in crime to continue gather the key elements and bring this movie to the light. We have some precious support on our side, including Joseph DeBeasi, the music editor of Dirty Dancing, The Revenant, Cruella… No hesitation if you have any question. Stay safe!
