If you want to sell a television series, the most important thing producers and executives are looking for is the sense that your series has sustainability, that it can stay engaging and carry an audience for several episodes or seasons. If you are writing a pilot script, knowing where your show is going is key to successfully launching your characters’ journeys throughout the series. Mapping out the seasons of your show can be the most exciting – and most difficult – part of the process: imagining that the show is being made and crafting season arcs and episode ideas that truly bring the show to life. Writing up your vision for the future of your series is challenging but so is finding ideas for that much story.

Thanks, Geoff, but I must be "stupid." I've searched everywhere under the Education tab and still can't find it. I emailed Stage 32.

Hello! I am thrilled to be diving into this subject again, this time with a full lab! This is maybe my favorite part of the development process, because we get to imagine your show on screen and just play! I hope my strategies will unlock the floodgates of your creativity and have you spinning stories in the summer sun like the spider on my patio spins her web. :) A note: if you haven't written your pilot yet, yes, this lab is for you! It's near impossible to finish a successful pilot without knowing where the show is going. If you have written a pilot, expect to take it to the next level after this lab!
