Hey I'm Aisling. I've always had a love and passion for films, dialog and stories. Suppose I could say I was never given the right sort of support in school or growing up so I've never had the courage to put myself "out there" and give it a go. I'm 28 now, better try before life gets in the way (anymore than it already has) I've taken a few creative writing classes, as every time I enrol for a screenwriting class it's cancelled due to lack of numbers. To get my film fix I've done a few extra gigs but with having to work full time I had to give that up. Never the less my claim to fame as it stands is a split second shot of myself carrying a bucket on the History Channels Vikings series 3. I'm eager to chat and connect with writers (esp any in the Dublin area who would be interested in brainstorming ideas) Thanks

Hey Aisling. A ton of incredibly talented people in Ireland. I'm sure you'll find kindred spirits. Lots to learn online and through reading--you don't have to go to a screenwriting class. I do think they are valuable though--you meet new people with great ideas. Writing can be lonely!

Aisling.. as one of the few visionary/new media types in the community I urge you to explore the worlds of Social TV/Film and interactive, multi-platform storytelling, aka Transmedia. All indicators point to change and those of us that embrace it will be one leg up on the rest :)
