Hi Stage32'ers! Im Elliot Grove from Raindance film festival. We're always interested in new ides and new ways of making movies. Here's a clip of me in 1995 with my first intern Edgar Wright and Roland Gift of Fine Young Cannibals. Try not to chuckle at my locks and specs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBRMYa7CrKM Keep in touch. www.raindance.org

Elliot - your glasses and your hair - you look like the love child of Richard Lewis and Geddy Lee from Rush in this clip!

Hey now, he said not to chuckle... :) I like these glasses - they don't make them like that anymore. Competition looks like a lot of fun - 14 seconds is pretty quick, but longer than Vine, so there's room... :) I'll tweet it out and I'll share with the talented horror makers at today's NFMLA screening.

I know, right? Thanksgiving made me hungry though... I'd love to see all of the submissions.

Thanks for sharing this, Elliot. Great stuff. It really makes me appreciate how much lower the barriers to entry are today vs 20 years ago for independent production. I like the locks and specs, by the way.

Cheers Elliot, this has made me feel better. I am 49 in 7 days and have finally lost the fear of making a short film from a script I have had for years, I am totally skint but determined to make a decent film, I attended a short cinematography course and it has ignited a spark under my arse and inspired me so much. So having to learn everything is very exciting.

Hi Ho, Elliot. Remember the curly-haired lady from a magical island in the North at your writer's workshop in Toronto in, (um) 2012 (13?). Remember that terribly long list of story ideas I awkwardly shoved at you? Well, I wrote a load of them! Yay! How's it going with Raindance's California office? Maybe I'll come down to TO for the pitchfest in Nov... cheers!
Wow, a Ford Anglia! Amazing!!!
