Why is charitable work always making people of color the subjects? There are very poor white people. Covington Kentucky. The orphans of Moldova. https://www.google.com/search?q=orphans+of+moldova&client=safari&hl=en-u... All of Eastern Europe basically. It's slightly offensive to constantly see people of color "saved" by "brave" filmmakers. On the bright side, nice editing and if you document extreme white poverty you will be a pioneer. :-) That one's for free.

Thank you Jela but you have not seen the whole film yet and my own story is being woven in there. The purpose of the film is not to save people but to share their empowering & inspiring stories. The colour of my own skin has nothing to do with it either. But my heart does.

I haven't yet seen your film, but seems from your remarks to Jela, your film is echoing my project: not as self help book/TV series, but to empower others- regardless of gender, social economic status, politics, etnicity, geographical borders.... I forget something? Oh, yep, religion, in my mind separates instead of unite mankind. Kudos in your project. Are you sure you are 16:-)? Great path....good luck and keep us posted. Anna

Thanks Mark for your offer. - I finished the script this summer - wrote it after I shot the footage while I was away. It's done now and I'm editing (the hardest part for me right now). Hoping to have it finished soon.

If anyone here wants to follow my pictures on instagram too i'm at Global Sunrisers I had to learn everything from scratch so it scares me a bit because people are saying this is good but then there may be an expectation for the film that is more than what I can deliver...so i'm a bit nervous right now.

Always people will have a "great expectation" and always people will criticize anything... Just follow your ideas fully in passion and get to the end with the same emotion and confidence.
