Hi Everyone!
My name is Cali Gilbert and I've been a part of the Stage32 family for about three years now. I first discovered this wonderful group shortly after I decided to make the transition from author to filmmaker in 2014.
I came to LA with suitcase in hand and a dream four years ago. I had been homeless in San Francisco, but managed to turn my life completely around. Today I'm an 8-time bestselling author and transformational book coach, along with also being an inspirational speaker and filmmaker.
I'm currently working on two projects, adapting my latest book, TIMING THE TIDES to film. I working on a short for proof of concept in hopes of hitting the film festival circuit next year and then creating the feature.

My other project, PEARL is very dear to my heart. This documentary is taken from my 7th book of the same title and shares not only my personal story of transformation from homelessness to success, but also those from others like me.

I am currently looking to interview FOUR more women in the United States who have experienced homelessness and reached success in the ARTS. If this is YOU, please reach out to me to see if you would be a good fit. I am looking to conduct these interviews in person sometime next summer (2018).
