So I had submitted the first 5 pages to a professional and he says good work and gave me suggestion which I took very well because, hey, it helps!

I have done the same Kellie. Had very constructive feedback from three members here. One was all about format and exposition style, one was a scan and a book recommendation (which I did buy), and one wants to read more than the first 10 pages.
All combined, it really put more fuel in this writer's tank. Now if I can just figure out what that pinging under the hood is about.

There's something about getting someone else's prospective on it that really helps me open my mind a bit and get's me out of the tunnel vision I sometimes get in my writing.

Well I learned this from other writers in classes and meetups, take the suggestions and use them. Once you learn you become the expert and then you learn the craft.
He didn't tell me about the TV pilot but he made wonderful suggestions! Back to work.
