Okay, I'll be honest. This Midwest gal has been lurking on Stage 32 for a year now. It's time for me to accept RB's challenge and finally participate in an Introduce Yourself Weekend.
I've enjoyed the blogs and Mentor Spotlights on Stage 32 and always look forward to the Coffee & Content on Sundays -- I've learned so much! That said, what I find most awesome are the pitch opportunities. I mean, I'm living in Wisconsin in the middle of a pandemic! What a great opportunity! I sent in a written pitch this weekend and also submitted a screenplay drama to Stage 32 for coverage. I was super pleased with the last coverage I received from a reader at Stage 32, so I didn't hesitate to submit another script.
I like writing character-driven stories with heart that portray complicated family dynamics. The genres I find most appealing are comedies (nothing too far-fetched) and dramas. I currently have a few ideas percolating for my next project, but haven't decided which direction to go.
I look forward to learning more on this site and making connections!
I hear you there Andrea. Used the prompt to introduce myself as well :)
I guess I'm in the lower midwest. From Missouri. I'm not much of a social butterfly either, but I do learn a lot just by lurking.
