Hello Stage 32 Community! I've been lurking around here for a while, but wanted to introduce myself properly. I'm Barbie Ross, a Houston-native, lived in Los Angeles for more than a decade. I'm a former personal assistant who wasn't writing enough, and now a recent graduate of UCLA's Screenwriting MFA program and have written much more! I'm proud to be the winner of Stage 32's 4th Annual Romantic Comedy Screenwriting Contest for my half-hour TV pilot, Matched! I have a lot of personal and professional experiences, as well as a lot of random interests, and I love bringing them all together (usually with some humor) to tell stories.
