I'm pretty excited about my script, Piratessa, moving forward for consideration in a recent Open Writing Assignment over in the Writer's Room. They tell me it will be submitted to Henry Hereford and they'll also be announcing the scripts they are submitting on the Wednesday Writer's Room executive webcast and in their newsletter.
As you know, just being recognized is so important. There is so much talent out there. It's great to be seen once in awhile. Thanks Stage 32 Writer's Room for your dedication to all of us guppies in the big fish pond.

Liberty V Justice (I assume this is your alias?), first I'll answer the Writer's Room question. To the right of the screen under the notifications bar is a link to the writers room. It is a monthly membership of around 30-40 bucks. Every couple of weeks they post open writing assignments (OWA) from various producers. It will give you the details of what they're looking for and if it seems to fit one of your scripts, then you submit it for free. That's the reason I joined, because I have screenplays ready to submit. They have a lot of benefits to the WR like education and webinars, etc..
A shopping agreement is when a producer really likes your screenplay, and they absolutely plan to produce it, they will begin the process of shopping for investors. During a shopping contract period of time you can't continue to submit the screenplay to other producers. They have a time limit, like 12-18 months with the option to re-sign it for 6 month intervals for example. So it's not the end game. It's just respecting your producers hard work of trying to get investors.
Once he/she gets the investors then new contracts will be signed. My producer, Holmestead Entertainment, is a Stage 32 member. He's also an actor and director.

Kevin Hager, good question! In my excitement I forgot to drop the log line and synopsis. :/ You can read the screenplay over on my page.
A black widow story set in the high-stakes world of yachting and pirates, with a unique team of a seasoned detective and a schizophrenic bodyguard one step behind the villainous siren, PIRATESSA.
Jim Blair is entranced by the beauty sitting across from him at a Costa Rican beach bar. She seems oblivious to their age difference as she hangs on his every word. Serafina Fabrizio masterfully pulls him in. Jim asks her to spend the weekend on his yacht. They disappear.
Private investigator, Dan Cummings, is hired to find Blair. Dan is a salty, Columbo-type PI who never gives up. He will find Blair, even at the risk of his own life.
As he begins his investigation, Dan consults a local bodyguard to the rich and famous. Part of Craig Lundvall’s success at protecting his customers is his own deep paranoia. Though completely different, they make the perfect team.
As they begin to pick up the trail, Serafina strikes again. Another middle-aged male and his yacht disappear. Dan is baffled. Why would the yachts be stolen and the owners with them?
Dan begins to suspect the entire yacht is being stolen and stored on the ever-present cargo ship floating off-shore. He can’t shake the suspicion that this is more than yacht theft.
Serafina strikes yet again. The trail sends Dan and Craig up and down the coast of Costa Rica, from one marina to another… always one step behind. But Serafina has been in organized crime long enough to know when she is being trapped, but Dan has been in the trapping business longer.
To capture her, he must be captured.
With Dan taken, Craig and the CIA team are unified in one goal: Get Dan Cummings back. The chase culminates in southern Italy.
In a wild boat chase and gun fight, they discover the real purpose behind the yacht theft… the transportation of heroin and Syrian refugees across the Mediterranean in small yachts.
