Hey all,

I just put the finishing touches on a TV Pilot after receiving some positive coverage here on Stage32.

As a result, I have two endings that could definitely work.

With a few minor changes to the final two pages of the pilot, the story can take a unique twist and go in an entirely different direction.

I'm just wondering if it's appropriate or acceptable to add a slug line at the end that says something like:

ALTERNATE ENDING:

And then paste in the alternate version.

Is that appropriate when submitting to contests, or shopping a script?

Has anyone here ever done this?

If so, how was it received?

For as long as I can remember I've wanted to be involved in the movie making process. Just recently decided to get some of my ideas down on paper.

I actually just submitted my first TV Pilot to PAGE and LAUNCHPAD and discovered this awesome community. Looking forward to making some connections and learning a lot.

I've been devouring lots of books on screenwriting, listening to a ton of podcasts, and reading screenplays like it's my JOB.

I have been a copywriter for over 10 years and am finding many similarities between the two worlds, but know I still have much to learn and am still trying to find my voice.

I'm particularly interested in writing ACTION, THRILLER, and HORROR
