Happy Friday - Plugins are back!

Happy Friday everyone, Sorry to take an extended absence from these posts, life gets in the way sometimes. So for this Friday I'd like to highlight Orchestral Tools: Metropolis Ark. This is great intro library that will get some of the classic epic sound without breaking the bank. While it's not a use this library for everything, its got a lot of great sounds in it, and can easily get you writing trailer/epic music - if that's what you're into. http://orchestraltools.com/libraries/metropolis_ark_1.php Happy 2016!

It looks like a beast! And from listening to the demos, the sound quality seems stellar!!!!

Yes, Jim - love the slate digital products! Thanks for the post follow-up, love it!

I've been faithfully using the Slate VCC for all my mixes now. Gives it a nice cohesive sound. Especially the Neve emulation for film scores.

This is a nice thing you are doing, Sam! Many thanks!

That's pretty incredible - and I can't believe how inexpensive it is. Things have sure changed since my first Roland guitar synth in the late 1970's. At the same time, though....as a long-time musician and observer of the advancement of synths/sampling/midi/advanced digital technology....it's a bit sad to realize how many musicians haven't been working in the past and won't be working in the future (at tmes) as a result.

Jim - I hear you. If I were the producer of small-budget films, I'd make the same choices. Nearly every budgetary aspect of a filmmaker's/producer's decision-making process involves tough choices - from costume design, props, stock footage, etc. Kudos to what you do when you can, and continued good luck with your career.
