Hello! I love these intro weekends. I couldn't say enough about the great connections and people I've met so far, local and far away. I was invited to be on a Screenwriting Podcast from a Stage 32 member and the benefits are amazing. The education and panels are hard to beat. This is the place for the Film World and the Networking Mecca - especially if you are not in LA and newer to the Industry. I hope you all are enjoying your weekend and be well.

I agree. The competing companies might have good programs but Stage 32 is the best and the only one where we are given the names and dates of those reading our material. We are not sending scripts out blindly or willy-nilly and then worrying about them. Stage 32 is ethical and I am sticking to this company because of that reason. Integrity first.

Right? I love Stage32. It is just infectiously positive. The world needs all the forces for positivity it can get, and this environment raises us all a lot higher! xo

Agreed. There should be no room in this industry for such fierce competition amongst creatives. As founder and past president of Women in Film Arkansas, I always tried to stress camaraderie within the membership. To cheer others on and to genuinely rejoice at the success of others is the only way to be. I made deep friendships there and watched others make it when I have not. It was still very rewarding to me. What goes around comes around - much better than being in an unpleasant state. Elevate someone else and eventually someone will elevate and edify you. I am in Burbank now and am pleased that thought exists in Stage 32. Those moving here from who-knows-where need all the encouragement others can muster.

It doesn't matter where you are in the world. I ran an International Filmmakers Organization for 20 years and a Sales & Marketing Company that sold films around the world for 11 years. I am now involved in putting together an International Studio Without Borders or Walls. We are looking for talent above and below the line. We try to keep gatekeepers and bureaucracy out of the mix. The talent is our collateral.

Carmen Mosley Agree with you 110% Stage 32 is everything this screenwriter living in Ohio could wish for--education by top people in the industry, script services where you can select from a long list of top execs, and networking with supportive and helpful fellow creatives from around the world! This past year that I've been a member of the Writers' Room has developed my screenwriting skills and allowed me to network to a degree I couldn't have imaged.
So true Martha! Social Media does have a seedy underbelly - but I do feel fortunate to have found S32. I have to confess I haven't utilized the Writer's Room as much as I should. Any specific recommendations on archived classes?
Brad - you are right on! RB exudes positive energy and always talks about how he only works with positive people. I encountered someone on Stage 32 and they seemed not to be on the up and up - and then a week or so later - they were gone. That means a lot to weed out the sharks!
Pay it forward is a yes! I loved your post!
Thank you all for engaging here today. It's been so great to "Meet" you all. I hope you are all productive and healthy!

Eugene hello! I am currently in Development for a short and a feature film. My first love is writing - but am learning more and more about the business and want to get into the producing side so I started a company,, found a Mentor, and began to progress from there. I would like to complete these projects, become a WGA member., and continue to produced and win.

So what is your short and feature? Are they related to each other in any way? Is your mentor a producer?

Hey, Carmen Mosley! So glad you're enjoying the platform! I noticed you write horror. Have you submitted any of your scripts to Stage 32's New Blood Screenwriting Contest? I think you'd appreciate the panel of judges and the prizes: https://www.stage32.com/scriptservices/contests
