I pitched to John Doherty of Cross Creek Pictures and he requested my script! At first I thought I bombed because he didn't look up at me too often, but I guess he was concentrating on what I was saying. What a poker face!

Congrats, Carol Lee! It's always gratifying when someone takes an interest in your work, especially when it's a spec script. I've been bouncing around in this crazy business for close to 20 years now, and it never fails to send my pulse running when someone asks to read a script.
