Introduce Yourself : Hi from a film composer by Alex Harwood

Alex Harwood

Hi from a film composer

Hi Stage32 family! I'm a BAFTA Cymru award winning film and tv composer based in London UK but work with directors all over the world. Have scored numerous film and feature documentaries including Harry Potter score for Warner Bros. official celebrations of Harry Potter, (US), Yeti or Not? (Animal Planet US/CH4 UK), Dancing in Circles (BAFTA Cymru winner Best Short) amongst many more. All info and examples of my work on my website and hope to work with you lots of you in the future!

Sylvia Marie Llewellyn

Welcome Alex... It's a pleasure to meet you, albeit virtually. Congratulations on all your successes... that's quite the accomplishment. Happy that you've joined us here on Stage 32.

Alex Harwood

Many thanks Sylvia! Great to cyber meet you and read about your work too! Congrats! It's great to find an international site of film makers along side the UK ones I belong too, as I love to work with directors and producers around the world. All best and thanks!

Geoff Hall

Hi Alex, it's good to see you on Stage 32. And a fellow Brit to boot!

Thomas J. Herring

Hello. It's great to meet you here. This is the place to be to get to know people in the entertainment field.

Alex Harwood

Thanks Geoff and Thomas! good to meet you and thanks for the welcome!

Sylvia Marie Llewellyn

Alex... One of my favorite people on S32 is writer CJ Walley... he lives across the pond as well. :-))

Richard "RB" Botto

Hey Alex! We have so many composers on Stage 32. You're in good company. For some reason, many are quite shy! So if you look at the Composing section of the Lounge, you'll see that it's one of our "lightest" Lounge categories! Hope you'll head over there and share some content or just discuss the craft!

Alex Harwood

Hi Richard! Thanks for the welcome. I'll definitely check out the lounge when I next have a moment. I think composers get snowed under when on projects and maybe another reason they don't post much. I'm about to be on a documentary series, a short film and a feature so I might be a bit on the quiet side for a while as I'll be up to my eyeballs in work! will check in soon. THANKS!

Richard "RB" Botto

Totally understand, my friend. Congrats on all the gigs!

Rachel Cameron

Welcome Alex!
