That's fantastic! I've been a Star Wars fan since I was a youth and am now eager to see "The Acolyte."Congratulations, Colleen, and I'm very excited for you. The majority of the scenes were shot in Madeira Island, which is my home country. I am even more proud of it! You are on the right track!

After two episodes it has a Rotten Tomatoes audience approval rating of 31%. Seems no one at Disney learned anything from South Park's roasting of Kathleen Kennedy.

Well earned for Colleen. Agree, she is one wise exec. Full of insights on the craft and business.

In the old days a show performing this poorly would've been cancelled. Back when networks relied on ad revenue they had to have good ratings to charge top rates for ads. In the streaming age, ratings don't matter because they already have your money. Not a very well incentivized system.

31 percent audience approval? Those were the days. The latest number I've seen puts audience approval at 17 percent. One critic called it a dumpster fire in space. Looks like more fodder for the South Park boys.

Gotta hand it to you, Richard Buzzell. You might be the most negative/cynical person on the 13 year history of this platform.
If so, I've earned it. You should check out some of the online reviews for The Acolyte. This thing is getting crucified. And the 17 percent audience approval number isn't something I made up. It's from Rotten Tomatoes. These are ratings from viewers. Not the bullshit numbers from crooked critics.

Richard's Buzzel'l's only sin is to point out The Acolyte is a certified woke dumpster fire. An episode about lesbian witches getting pregnant by using The Thread. Look Ma! No men! Really? One of the actresses was quoted that the purpose of the new series is to make "white people cry". When did this become the goal of entertainment? No amount of happy talk will polish the t**d. OK...put Richard and me into the same box. Maybe we both should have remained quiet but the gaslighting; intentional or not, has been too much..

you are wrong to blame the screenwriter for the failure of the series. because the series was not originally intended to be a success. The job of a screenwriter is to please the producers, not the audience. otherwise, it will be difficult to find a job.
@DT Houston. Wow. It's been 5 months, you still remember my idea about the drug courier shark! I wanted to write a script this year, but my cat gave birth to 4 kittens. now I feed them, play with them and clean the trays 3 times a day.
