Stage 32 Meetups : Cannes 2014 by Lord Zion

I'm in a Short, titled "Coast", that will be Premiering at the beginning of Cannes.

@ Lord no problemo but let's just wait to see how many people will join no and just be a bit more sure about the weather? But seems either 15th evening or 16th. Depending the number of people we then choose the place!

Good idea. Where is the Petit Magic, at what time do we meet?

The Petit Majestic is a little bar not too far from the palais. A lot of people attending the festival gather there for a few drinks after the day is done. 16th works for me, anytime after 6:30-7pm should be good as the palais has wrapped up for the day by then.

just to let you know that if we are less than 20 people on the 16th from 6 to 8 pm I can easily organize to do that on a beach which could be more convenient...

Thanks to Lord Zion who started this lounge meeting I can confirm that an "happy hour" will take place for Stage 32 members (limited to the first 32 of course) in Cannes from 6pm to 8pm on the 16th of May on a beach. More infos to come soon!

Michel - can we coordinate with you to get all of you 32ers some Stage 32 swag to wear at this meetup? We're going to feature your Cannes meetup on the 32 blog :) (and we'll give a little shout out to all your projects that you all have going on over there :)

Happy to let you know that the "Cannes Stage32 happy hour meet up" will take place on the "Plage Miramar" from 6pm to 8pm on Friday May 16th. Every Stage32 member with his name on this page will be more than welcome but only the 32 first one will receive a special collector "Cannes Stage32 gift"...so don't be late and have a very productive festival. And for the one who can't make it, it doesn't mean you can not meet with Stage32 members after this event!!!! :o) See you there!

what would be great is if you could talk about the project you have here in Cannes and what you are looking for....even for the one who weren't with us!

Hey Michel I'm here with four 'in development' feature projects. 1. A murder mystery/dark comedy set in Bombay called 'The Tenants' (partially financed) 2. A Sci-Fi / Political satire set in India called 'The Prime Minister' (director attached) 3. A post apocalyptic Sci-Fi called 'Project Fusebox' 4. A low budget claustrophobic, single location Horror called 'The Cantina' Looking for a Producer / Production company for an international co-production and financing for all these projects. Vishaal.

If you find anyone wanting to distribute a comedy horror that will be ready in Aug/Sept; or someone wanting to invest in a low-budget psychological horror, point them toward me. I can help on both counts ;-)
