About Daniel

Rutka's passion for the arts and filmmaking was fostered at a young age when he spent his formative years in the presence of visionary filmmakers George Lucas and Francis Ford Coppola while his mother created the "Ewok" language for the Star Wars saga.

A web-series pioneer in the early days of YouTube, he enjoyed notable success with his "PrankVote" channel, producing prank videos that have collectively been seen by nearly one-hundred-million people online and on television shows such as MTV's "Ridiculousness" and the "Maury Povich Show". These shorts were noted for their off-beat comedy and irreverence and enjoy a loyal following to this day.

His unique brand of humor and the ability to generate high volumes of web-traffic with his original content compelled him to segue into a career in advertising where he conceived and spearheaded successful ad campaigns for big brand names such as Bud Lite, Crest, Gillette, and Jameson Whiskey.

From there, Rutka undertook his first foray into screenwriting, a stylized take on the later years of one of America's greatest filmmakers. This project recently garnered the collaboration of legendary producer Robert Evans and is currently in development with his company.
