Great, Linda. I have your book "Making a Good Script Great." It was the very first book on screenwriting that I bought and read in film school. Yes, I agree about connecting with others instead of competing. I don't like competing with other people either but myself. Competition also does good because it motivates people, but at the same time, it creates envy and jealousy. Competition is basically survival of the fittest. We as human beings should learn to share the pie - it makes the world a better place to live in.

Hi Linda, How great to see your post here. I am a huge fan of your book "How to Make a Good Script Great" it has literally by my bedside for years (what's left of it). Nearly every page is dog-eared. Whenever I finish a first draft of a script, I go through your book again from start to finish and apply it to my new project. Thanks.
