Last month in the Introduce Yourself Lounge I shared about the fact that I hit an absolute highlight -- if not THE highlight -- of my professional career. I am a publicist and my agency, Now Hear This, was founded on serving music clients (only) 20-some years ago. (Full disclosure, present day the client list includes various others that we serve: filmmakers, authors, actors, small businesses, entrepreneurs.) My having been chosen (as posted last month) as a Member of the Recording Academy felt like a culmination of all my years of hard work serving the music community. (Now Hear This has clients across the country.)
This month I'm here to share not only that I am also very much a podcaster, but a recent milestone hit in that realm. I've never missed a week since launching my show ("Now Hear This Entertainment") back in February 2014 -- thinking then that it might be a marketing tool to help attract new clients. Fast forward to present day, and this past Wednesday I released the milestone 600th episode of the show.
For those that don't know me, I'm also a speaker, and will head to Atlanta this coming Wednesday to be a speaker ("A Dozen Ways to Promote Your Writing Career") at the Future Proof Author conference.
Did I mention that I'll be in Los Angeles next month (Sep. 18-23)? Now that I've introduced myself, for those of you who live out there, let's meet while I'm out west!
