GENRE: Comedy, Drama
LOGLINE:
After spending years in an alcohol and drug fueled haze, former A-list actor, Tom Satin, is ready for his triumphant return, only to discover no one gives a shit.
Richard, This logline sounds like my life minus the the alcohol and drug fueled haze. I have learned one doesn't have to have an affliction to be down on their luck. A poor economy, the rise in cost of living and pursuing a life long dream of being a successful screenwriter is sufficient. I recently sent Joey (Happy Writer) an e-mail he called "best e-mail ever!" concerning my life's "bumpy road". I've never been happier writing prolifically what I think are quality goods. But I'm so down on my luck I can't afford to copyright them or register them with the Guild let alone pay attention. And you guessed it, no one gives a shit.
And the sequel is called? Redemption: A former A-list actor rises above the dark, cynical cloud of Hollywood in order to assist hapless others find their own demise.

Appreciate the comments, guys. It definitely has a SIDEWAYS, LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE kind of feel.

I like this story! I wonder how it ends. Maybe in the end, he changes his value system and doesn't give a shit about his old fake friends either.
