I can do this

I have dreams of working with Disney, I can do this, to all those on Stage 32 who work with Disney I can be your new idea guy. I admit I have very little experience with this field. But I know I can do it. I have original ideas that would match their brand, and some pay homage to Disney's past works...

What is your medium?

I don’t think an artist should limit themselves to a single medium. But I do believe that every artist has an ideal medium. Not a single place, but a form where they feel most comfortable.

For an actor, theater is the ideal medium. Even with all the effort of the crew behind a show, in the end it is...

What song are you obsessed with right now?

I rediscovered a song I listened to a lot in high school, "1000 Years" by SWANS.

I know, I watched a lot of his movies, I have some on DVD, and I also watch Walker, Texas Ranger. I would have loved to work with him, some of my ideas are inspired from his work.

He also founded two Major Martial Arts Styles American Tang Soo Do and Chun Kuk Do.

You should look up Kickstart Kids, he founded it. Some of his films include Top Dog, Hellbound, The President's Man 1 and 2, The Hero and the Terror, The Cutter, the Hitman, and Agent Recon.

Right now I am watching Missing in Action.

Honesty's the Best Policy

I really want to work with Disney and get my ideas out there. I have not done anything like lie about my experience, I am sort of a neophyte at this, and I am sharing credit of Black Dragon getting written into a script with Demian Melcher. I have also not exploited anyone, and I only ask people to...

Karate Tiger?

This one could be tricky or complicated but has anyone heard of Karate Tiger? It's an alternative title to the No Retreat, No Surrender films. Plus, one that is also called Fist of Iron. How many of these Karate Tiger films were made and what other names did they use?

Tragedy

Some of my favorite actors have passed away, like Hulk Hogan and Chuck Norris. I would have liked to have met and work with them while they were alive. It's kind of sad and sudden.

I hope to break into entertainment media, and accomplish that before my time comes.

Following Up on an Opportunity

Hi All!

I recently applied for an internship that I’m really excited about and haven’t heard back yet, so I was hoping for some advice on when it’s appropriate to follow up.

For some context: I originally cold emailed a producer at the company because they had posted a similar internship last year. Th...

I would give it one more week. When you do follow up, keep it short and warm — reaffirm your interest, mention you're still very excited about the opportunity, and ask if there's any update on the timeline.
