Stage 32 Writers' Room - You All Are Awesome!

We've been meeting for over 6 weeks now in the Stage 32 Writers' Room and I just wanted to say that you all rock! Whether it's asking questions, pitching scripts, submitting writing challenges, or just giving us your thoughts, It's been amazing to have so many people participate in what's become the thing I most look forward to in my week! It's just great to get together with peers and focus on writing.

This weeks we get to sit down with Art/Work Manager Spencer Robinson, who's one of my favorite people in the industry and someone who always wants to help up-and-coming writers, to discuss representation and the state of the industry for writers. What would you all want to ask a Lit Manager given the chance?

So, Writers' Room, keep on kicking ass! And if you aren't already part of the writers' room and have any questions about it, let me know here or email writerhelp@stage32.com and Nick will be there to help you.

It is solid through and through, and Allen much of that is your fantastic organization of it. It's an incredible value and I've enjoyed being part of the inaugural waters.

I’m thoroughly enjoying The Writers’ Room and have already gained much further insight. I appreciate and am happy to be a part of the inaugural group. Thank you so much Allen, Nick, RB, Amanda, all the guests, and all those who participate and join in. It takes a village, does it not? Lol! ;)

Is this free? And how does one gain access?

Shanika Freeman

I have gained so much while being part of The Writer's Room!

Frankie, if you check the link https://www.stage32.com/plan, you can see the many benefits and value. It entitles you and gives you access to quite a bit: weekly sessions, craft discussions, you can submit Write Now Challenges for review, you can watch others pitch (or pitch yourself) and hear pro reviews/opinions, you have access to guests and/or staff to ask questions in real time, you can seek advice from "the room," etc—all via Zoom Video Conferencing. Another key benefit: You get to know each other. It's more personable. All sessions are recorded and then made available in the Vault, unlimited all access, via On Demand. The on-demand Vault has been very helpful to me as my current schedule is a bit all over the place and sometimes I'm just not available at the time of the session. But...no problem. I don't have to worry about missing a thing. Again, I've really enjoyed The Writers' Room. Happy to be a part of it. ;)))

Thanks. Seems like a good program and pricing is fair.

Greetings Writers.

I might be late for the chat with you all. It is my first time here.

I have been writing since 2010 and have not produced anything. I have book manuscripts and film screenplay. I have resorted into learning much better from the Queen Gambit script which Jason Mirch was going through with us in March. I am coming okay, at least I believe so.

Christopher Mack's pitch document writing workshop has been a greatest help as well. I believe I will be 100% ready to pitch within two weeks time.
