The PGA has been vocal about the industry's evolution and health insurance is at the core of a lot of this (I've been producing for over 20 years and have paid for my own my entire career). Ultimately, a strong and healthy producing community is in the best interest of the industry IMO. of course, as a producer, I may be a bit biased.

I totally agree. Producing credits are a great incentive when people bring stuff to the table. When it's an "in name only" benefit for contractual filler purposes, what's really the point? All it does is detract from those who do the hard work and diminish the incredible effort it takes to make a movie or show.

That’s such an intense and compelling perspective on filmmaking. Adam Elliot has a real gift for crafting deeply emotional stories that linger with audiences long after the credits roll. His ability to balance humor and heartbreak in stop-motion is truly unique, and it sounds like his latest film is no exception.

It’s fascinating how he views emotional impact as a measure of success—some of the most powerful films are the ones that leave us thinking, feeling, and maybe even wrecked in the best way. Definitely adding this to my must-watch list.
